Leading independent wet-leisure products distributor Golden Coast is using Spatex to showcase its 2014 product additions – focusing on high quality and supporting them with expert ‘on-the-spot’ advice.

Among the new top brands Golden Coast will bring to the event are two manufacturers with a strong connection with water quality. Since signing an exclusive UK distribution deal with Darlly, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality filter cartridges, Golden Coast says it has seen sales of high-spec filters soar – reflecting a more general customer trend towards choosing better products. Developments in ozone and UV treatment by Triogen will also be highlighted. Continuing on the theme of water quality, Golden Coast’s stand will also feature automatic chemical dosing systems from Etatron.

Adding a new dimension to the pool and spa experience, the EVA Optic LED lighting systems (see image) – now available in the UK exclusively through Golden Coast – will also be on display.

Golden Coast will demonstrate its own bespoke pool and spa control panels, while Tylö sauna equipment will feature prominently on the stand together with products from Sundance Spas – again distributed exclusively in the UK by Golden Coast.

Additions to Golden Coast’s extensive range of spa products include SpaGlo, a spa shell and cover cleaner that cleans, shines, protects and restores faded and dull looking finishes. SpaFix, a spa leak sealant suitable for all types of spas and hot tubs and that fixes minor leaks in pipework will also be shown. EasyKlip, described as the “world’s strongest tarp klip” will also be on display as an affordable, temporary solution for securing spa covers when clips become damaged.

“We’ve selected products to show the quality available – and to help us explain why quality is important,” says Golden Coast’s managing director Jamie Adams. “We are also very keen to advise trade customers on the many ways in which we can help them increase their business.”

Golden Coast will release the results of its ‘State of the Wet Leisure Industry’ survey, conducted jointly with the British Swimming Pool Federation (BSPF). Jamie comments: “The survey is now in its second year and we’ve seen a substantial rise in the number of businesses engaging in this valuable research. As a result, this year’s report provides the industry with a much more accurate picture of performance and growth.”

He continues: “The report is certain to raise some important issues for companies, such as how and why you might diversify in the months ahead. By keeping informed of what is happening across our industry, businesses are best placed to achieve the best outcomes in the months and years ahead.” Visitors to the stand can pick up a free copy of the report.
