Spa filtration product specialist Darlly Europe is heralding the end of hard water in spas with its Pure-Stream product – designed to eliminate calcium from ordinary tap water.

Pure-Stream works by using ion-exchange resins within the filter to replace the calcium ions found in hard water with magnesium ions.

This process removes the calcium form the water source, leaving limescale in the filtered water to be suspended in the water where it cannot cling to equipment or surfaces and damage the surface or internal workings of the spa.

The product fits on to the end of a garden hose and filters out the calcium in the water as it passes through the filter when filling the spa. Pure Steam can be used with all conventional water treatments, and lasts for 20 fills.
