Proteus, thanks to its technology, has clinched another large project in the park of the Bella Riva Hotel: a luxurious five-star hotel located next to Lake Garda. The swimming pool, built with Proteus technology, measures 7m x 18.5 m, and is 1.3 m deep throughout the whole of its length thus resulting in a total of 117 m2 of water.

It was made by combining the overflow and skimmer systems, with a cascade feature that gives onlookers the impression that the pool water flows directlly into Lake Garda. The whole perimeter of the pool is further embellished by a mother-of-pearl mosaique that makes the swimming pool shimmer with beauty in the sun. The pool is rectangular and residents get in to the water by using a delightful flight of stairs that wind their way round the whole width of the pool and which may also become a solarium and relaxation area.

On the opposite side, a curved extension provides a superb stage for special events, banquets and night-time poolside parties. And the pool is at its finest at night thanks to six muti-colour led lights that give the water a variety of hues, ranging from a fiery red to an ice blue.
