KlafSauna and spa specialist Klafs is promoting the sauna as a stylish piece of furniture. The German company exhibited at the recent imm Cologne exhibition (furniture fair), presenting its latest sauna models and demonstrating how the “private relaxation oasis can become a proper lifestyle element by means of innovative and exciting design in terms of form, lighting and technology”.

The company says that current living trends demand transparency, natural colour tones and elegant lighting concepts, and that these trends were reflected in its display at the exhibition.

In accordance with these concepts, Klafs presented the new designer sauna, the Casena, featuring a frameless glass front, internal and external cladding made from wengue wood, a starscape on the ceiling, and an innovative bench concept that has no visible substructure and appears to float in the air.

According to Klafs, this gives the room lightness and creates space.
