A new product that claims to dramatically reduce water heating bills for spas and hot tubs using solar power is being launched by Israeli company Magen eco-Energy.

Called eco-Flare, the product is said to offer several benefits, including:

durability through the use of a specially formulated material designed to resist the effects of sustained ultraviolet radiation, corrosion, limescale and salt; simple installation; resistance to freezing through a specially designed manifold header (patent pending); light weight; and the fact that there is no need for a heat exchanger.
