TRIOGEN TR 2UV water treatment specialist Triogen is launching three new low-pressure ultraviolet disinfection systems for small pools, spas, water features and fountains.

Designed to provide cost-effective treatment and improved water quality, the new TR2 range offers models with two, three or four low-pressure UV lamps, treating flow rates of up to 40 m3/h and a UV dose of 30 mJ/cm2. The lamps are powered by electronic ballasts housed within the reactor top cap, while a centre ring indicates the lamps are operational when switched on. The suffix to the model designation (e.g. TR2-4) indicates the number of UV lamps provided.

The new models are designed to have a small footprint and low power consumption. The TR2 systems are said to be easy to install, with selectable inlet and outlet positions. The 2-in. PVC inlet and outlet unions provided on all three models are designed to allow easy connection to existing or new PVC systems.
