Solra-rapid sur un toitROOS Freizeitanlagen GmbH has presented its 2010 certified "solar-rapid®” pool heating system at this year’s “Piscine” trade fair.
The renowned European testing institution CSTB (a member of EOTA, the European Organisation for Technical Approvals) put the solar-rapid® pool heating collector through its paces and reported that it is outstanding for reliability and service life, with a top efficiency rating of 91.3%.

The collector supplies thermal energy that is 100% free of charge, without electricity, oil, gas etc. Its special features are its high performance heating, easy installation, and good looks - as well as its newly improved versatility in adapting to local conditions.
Thanks to the patented solar-rapid® 50 collector connection system, gaps can easily be cut to accommodate built-in features of the solar surface (e.g. skylights on a roof). So there is no need to waste any of your precious solar surface anymore, as it is done with panel collectors for example.
With Solar-rapid pool heating every last square centimetre is used to warm the swimming pool water fast and effectively.

A modular system
fixation du Solar-rapid

The solar system essentially consists of three components that can be assembled using the construction-kit principle: distribution pipes, mounting brackets and solar-rapid® 25 and 50 pipes.
All pipes are made of high-quality solar polypropylene. This substance is highly UV-stabilised and temperature-resistant from –45°C to 130°C. The material is also resistant against standard pool water maintenance products, and even after many years of use shows no signs of deterioration. That means none of the black spots and seams, that many owners of rubber collectors often complain about. Rodents simply aren’t a problem for those collectors.

A practical collector

 Solra-rapid components
The collector can be rolled up for transport and then unrolled again at the installation site. Setting it up (e.g. on a roof) is consequently finished in next to no time. On a sloping roof the collector is simply attached with retaining brackets at the top. On a flat roof it is just rolled out – and that’s it. There is no need to glue it down. The wind can gust between the corrugated solar-pipes so there is no risk of a “sail effect”.

Easy and quick assembly

Final assembly of the collector is extremely easy and quick, thanks to the flexible Solar-rapid® 50 pipes and their range of associated accessories. The pipes’ flexibility means that it is easy to negotiate gutters, recesses, corners and bends in next to no time. Special fastening components ensure that the installation looks neat and tidy.

All components of the ROOS®-solar system are perfectly coordinated and made in Germany.
