AstralPool launches Victoria Dual Speed, a dual-speed pump which makes it possible to adapt water circulation to the specific needs of each pool. The equipment’s operating time and volume are regulated by selecting the pump operation speed, guaranteeing the lowest possible energy consumption in each operation.
The high-speed setting is recommended for operations with high hydraulic requirements such as washing, rinsing, shock treatment or the use of certain suction cleaners.
The low-speed mode is particularly suitable for a higher-quality, more uniform filtration. When the pump is operating at low speed, the working pressure is reduced and the turbulence in the system practically disappears. This results in better filtration, noise level reduction and lower energy consumption.
The ultra-silent filtering results in a sound level reduction of 20 audible decibels as compared with a normal filtering process. It only emits a hum which is almost imperceptible to the human ear. This significant noise reduction means that filtering can take place at night, when demand for electricity is lower and electricity is cheaper.
The resulting product is not only Eco Sound but also Eco Energy, since it leads to an energy saving of over 60% in comparison with a single-speed pump. The pump conforms to the new domestic appliance energy efficiency improvement legislation.
The Victoria Dual Speed pump is available in a range of 1 CV to 2.5 CV singlephase motors and is completely interchangeable with AstralPool’s VICTORIA, VICTORIA PLUS and SPRINT pumps. The two speeds are easy and quick to select by the user, although we recommend the use of a specific control panel which guarantees that the pump alternates between the two speeds automatically, keeping the swimming pool in perfect condition. The control panel has been specially designed for the Victoria Dual Speed pump and is available as an accessory.
