The Blautec company now markets a hydraulic elevator which provides pool access to people with reduced mobility. The model is ACCESS-B1: it provides easier handling, greater user autonomy and it adapts itself better to different types of pools.
It works thanks to a hydraulic piston that is activated with the same pressure as that of the water network, without the need for a motor. It includes a pole and a chair that move vertically thanks to the piston and it turns by following a track system.
It’s easy to setup, transport and adapts to different types of pool edges. The elevator can be activated from the interior of the pool so that the person can use it alone; the transfer is done facing the water, the 150° rotation angle and rigid foot-rest provide the user with a greater sense of safety and comfort.
