Additionally, Myrtha Pools installed two temporary pools for water polo competitions inside the Water Polo Arena, a temporary structure located in the parking lot close to the Aquatic Centre.

The three permanent pools of the Baku Aquatics Centre, a 50m-competition pool, a 50m warm-up ad a diving pool, have been built using Myrtha Ceramic 3 overflow gutter technology. Both of the 50m pools are provided with competition accessories, while the diving pool is equipped with air safety cushion for diving, the Myrtha Pools special system that produces a uniform mixture of water and air in the area where the diver enters the pool thus reducing the impact to the diver.

The Defender Filtration system was chosen for the filtration of the three pools of the Baku Aquatics Centre. The system guarantees a high quality of the water and considerable cost savings in chemical products, water and electricity.

The two temporary pools for water polo, one dedicated to male sessions, and the other one to female sessions, measure 35x22x2m, and have been built using Myrtha Classic overflow gutter technology and also utilize the Defender filtration system.
