Nine awards for XL Pools this year
XL Pools awarded silver in the domestic pool enclosures category at the European Pool and Spa Awards
XL Pools, based in the south of England in the borough of Kent, has been raking in awards both nationally and internationally.
At the end of 2019 XL Pools were awarded silver in the domestic pool enclosures category at the European Pool and Spa Awards, awarded by EUSA (European Union of Swimming Pool and Spa Associations) held this year in Cologne, Germany. The commendation comes for a pool in Hawkenbury near Tunbridge Wells, a project completed in collaboration with Summit Leisure.
Anthony Exell, managing director of XL Pools, said: "XL Pools are proud to have won a EUSA award this year. It really reflects the hard work the team put in and I couldn't be happier."
XL Pools also recognised at the 2020 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards
In January, the company was also recognised at the 2020 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards, announced at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The Kent pool builder won its highest number of awards in one night, and they scooped one of the top prizes, the Dick Millward Trophy for Pool Contractor of the Year awarded by SPATA - the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association.
Likewise, XL Pools picked up a gold award in the Residential Outdoor Pools Under £50,000 category, a Gold and Bronze award in the Residential Outdoor Pools £50,000 to Under £75,000 category and a Bronze award in the Residential Outdoor Pools £75,000 to Under £125,000 category.
Further success was shown with a gold award in the Residential Outdoor Pools with an Enclosure category, a gold award in the Residential Indoor Pools Under £100,000 category, a silver award in the Residential Indoor Pools £100,000 to Under £125,000 category and a gold award in the Special Requirement Pool of the Year category.
Regarding success at the 2020 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards, Mr Exell commented: "We joined SPATA in 2010 and have won numerous awards and accolades during our time as members. We are proud to be taking home nine awards this year which includes one of the top SPATA awards, the Dick Millward Trophy for Pool Contractor of the Year, which we also won in 2015 and 2018".
